General Description
:
Gem beach resort is a beachfront resort close to the conventional fishing village of batu rakit, 29km from kuala terengganu city center and 18km from kuala terengganu sultan mahmud airport, on the north east coast of peninsular malaysia. On the far horizon, over the south china sea, can be seen the islands of bidong and redang and with the first-rate visibility, seem much closer then they truly are. To the right of the resort is a rocky outcrop surrounded by the sea. This uncomplicated formation gives the village of batu rakit its name. The proximity of this appealing conventional fishing village provides resort guests with the chance of seeing the fishermen land their catch each day.
